Lexington Oaks Golf Club is pleased to announce a comprehensive golf instruction program to be administered by Dave Stewart, PGA. An enthusiastic ambassador of golf, Dave discovered golf in his early teens, rising through the caddy ranks at a Connecticut golf club. As a high school and college student, Dave worked many jobs at his local Club while he developed his own golf game.
Soon after graduating as a 4-year golf letterman from the University of Tampa he became a Class A PGA Professional and remained in the Tampa Bay area where his career included successful tenures at Avila Golf & Country Club, Fox Hollow Golf Club and Emerald Greens Golf Resort & Country Club. At each club, Dave strongly promoted active golf instructional programs and opportunities for golfers of all skill levels.
Dave’s experiences have confirmed his belief that golf is more enjoyable to players who are continually improving their games and having fun. Golfers can increase their enjoyment for the game through gaining golf skills with simple instruction that begins at the golfer’s own skill level and advances one step at a time. His goal is to help others learn sound fundamentals and improve playing techniques, through men’s, women’s and junior clinics, private lessons, junior camps as well as on course playing lessons. Dave will help you have more fun on the golf course and continuously promote golf, the true game of a lifetime.
